Bishop Poulson Joins ECBF Board

In December, Bishop Poulson was elected to the board of the Episcopal Church Building Fund (ecbf.org). ECBF was established in 1880 by General Convention, and has as its goal using low interest loans with low fees to help congregations build or renovate buildings to enhance mission. Oklahoma is no stranger to ECBF: both Grace Church, Yukon and Magdalene House, OKC have benefited from ECBF loans.

Bishop Poulson says about his election: “I am very selective about giving my time outside of Oklahoma, but ECBF fits well with our diocesan focus on congregational vitality. Accessing financial capital at affordable rates to help congregations be planted, renovate an education wing, or add solar panels is the kind of ministry the Church needs to be doing.”

The outgoing chair of ECBF is the new Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church, the Most Rev. Sean Rowe. A list of current projects being funded can be found here: https://ecbf.org/category/projects/.
