Church of the Redeemer & FreeMan’s Food Truck

Glynn Simmons, declared innocent in December 2023 after 48 years of wrongful imprisonment in Oklahoma City, recently started FreeMan's Food Truck in OKC. With the support of neighbors at the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer, he is using a portion of the church's parking lot to kickstart his business. Read the full KFOR story HERE.

Fr. Lance Schmitz, Vicar of Redeemer, shared, " Redeemer is just trying to be a good neighbor to the community and to be a small part of Glynn's story of hope. Will this help our church to grow?  I don't think so. Will it bring joy to people and make a difference? Without question or concern, it will.  It's not about growth. It's about being ambassadors of hope amid our turbulent world."
